8 Bit Antique
8 Bit Antique is a showcase site for Irish musician Mark Murphy. The navigation is very original (you use the leaves on the plant and you can also move the ladybird around with your cursor keys) and the over all effect is quite hypnotic. It was designed by Sixsidia and is a site that beats the pants of most other musicians homepages, including those of the much bigger names in music.

Eugene Mirman is a weird man/boy who sings (badly) a selection of classic tunes with all the charisma of a plate. Oddly mesmerising stuff.

Donnie Darko
Donnie Darko, the movie, is like an odd mix of John Hughes and David Lynch and the official site echoes the general strange qualities of the film. Fascinating and fun to navigate.

Disney have created a site to teach kids all about safety and etiquette online. It's extremely well laid out and educates whilst remaining fun and colourful.

A nice little excersise where each letter morphs into an animal that begins with that letter. It's quite imaginative and would be great to teach kids about the alphabet.

The U2 site is pretty innovative and manages to bypass the usual band website cliches. The timeline idea works beautifully, particularly for a band of U2's longevity.

Esao Andrew is a fantastic artist and his site does him credit. The screen is filled with gorgeous drawings which react to your mouse movements and all his work is great and very varied.

Daring Planet may not have any episodes up yet, but they are coming soon and the site is all ready for them. It looks pretty original and the navigation all feels very solid.
