The .ie domain

Why should I get a .ie domain?

A .ie domain is the official registry for Irish businesses or organizations. A .ie domain signifies that the business operates within the Irish market – be it an Irish owned organization or an international company that has an Irish presence. Currently there are over 63,000 registered .ie domain names.

How do I get a .ie domain?

Any organization can apply for a .ie domain, providing the legitimacy of the organization can be proved. The IEDR maintains the database of .ie domains and specifies that proof on legitimacy should be provided.
