How much of a difference can the fans make on Saturday night
John O'Shea Hopefully they can make a huge different. As a home team you always get a massive boost from the fans, but there is going to be a massive attendance from Irish supporters
John O'Shea so hopefull we can get a similar result to Paris when we played France and should have won

What's a normal training day like for you?
John O'Shea training will start at 10. you have to be in a half hour before training starts. we then do some gym work to warm up
John O'Shea then we go outside, depending on when we have a game training can be an hour, an hour and a half - the closer to the game the shorter training is but its definitely more intense

Do you keep up to speed on the Eircom League. If so who do you support?
John O'Shea i support waterford - Shane Robinson is a good friend of mine - unfortunately Waterford aren't doing too well, but they have a young team and are in a transitional period with a new manager
John O'Shea so get behind them and support the blues

How often do you get back to Waterford to see your family and friends? Do they head over much?
John O'Shea i get back as often as i can - my girlfriend is from there so we travel back as much as possible to see our family and friends

Have you had a chance to play against any of your boyhood heroes?
John O'Shea i havent played against many as they have all retired - but i have had a chance to play with my heroes Roy Keane and Denis Irwin,

Were you disappointed when Waterford lost to Cork in the All Ireland hurling semi-final?
John O'Shea i was very disappointed. I was at the game in Croke Park with a good few of my friends from Waterford - it was very close, but Cork are a great team and deserved to win on the day (just about)

What do you think of your former captain Roy Keane being appointed Sunderland manager?
John O'Shea its a great appointment for Sunderland. I can see him being a fantastic manager, They seem to be off to a great start with the win against West Brom - he wasn't officially in charge but his presence

John O'Shea Zidane was defnitely the best player at club level - i also played against Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney during training sessions

John O'Shea there wouldn't be one in particular. more of a group involving Darren Fletcher, Wes Browne, Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney and Liam Miller

Whats the atmosphere like in the Irish camp ahead of Saturdays game?
John O'Shea It's very positvie. Obviously we were all disappointed after the Dutch game, but we have bounced back. We have a fully fit squad and are all looking forward to it.

John O'Shea obviously the GAA football and hurling - I like to watch the Golf, I watch competitions if they are near Manchester and even try to play a bit. I also follow Rugby League

John O'Shea I get on great with him. We have a good relationship and fingers crossed it will last - if you put the work in training and the respect then you get it back

Who has had the greatest influence on your career?
John O'Shea its hard to put it just on one - Alex Ferguson, my Dad, all the managers I have played under, every manager has passed on good advice that I have taken in and put into my game

John O'Shea for a while it was Roy Keane - but it changes - for this game it is Wayne Henderson

John O'Shea Ferrybank in Waterford where I had great success, great times and great memories

John O'Shea as long as I am playing on the team - I am really enjoying playing mid-field at the moment

John O'Shea i think its different for every individual - I went across after I finished my Leaving Cert, Robbie Keane went across after his Junior Cert, he obviously had the success but I think it is better to

Liam Miller there has been a few that come close. Making my international debut and at club level at Celtic and Man United

Amy>From what age did you know you wanted to be a footballer?
Liam Miller since I was a young lad. I've always loved playing football, but I never thought the dream would come through until i was 14 or 15 when I went over to Celtic and it started to a happen

Mags> Are you nervous about the match on Saturday?
Liam Miller not so much nervous, just anxious to do well and get a win over there. I think the whole team is the same

Brenda>Do you have a favourite goal from your career to date?
Liam Miller the one against Sweden was my first international, but its always great to see the back of the net. Hopefully a few more will follow

Liam Miller pasta, scrambled egg, chicken, cereal whatever the player prefers

Liam Miller my family has been a big influence, also I am lucky enough to have the great managers with O'Neill and Ferguson and they have helped me out a lot

Liam Miller Joe Dean - he is a savage hurley hopefully he will do the business on Sunday, up the rebels

Liam Miller you would have to consider two or three, I would say Chelsea for obvious reasons, Liverpool who have strengthened their squad and Arsenal are going to be up there too

Liam Miller I like playing hurling and Gaelic football - I liked woodwork in school, so there might have been a trade there

Liam Miller to be hones, not really. I watch games on the tv but only go when my mates are playing

Liam Miller i last went on holiday to Florida, Disney Land - it was a cool place

Liam Miller there is probably one or two - Robbie Keane is always messing and Stephen Elliott is always stuck in something

Liam Miller I think he will do very well. If he is anything to go by as a player he will have them playing in the Premier League and Champions League not too far after

aidan: Are you looking forward to playing soccer in Croke park?
Liam Miller I am indeed. I was there at the Stadium when Kilkenny played Galway and it was my first time - I was taken aback, it is a beautiful stadium and to see it full of Irish fans would be amazing

Liam Miller i can barely remember - I think I was at home watching the game with the family shouting the team on

Liam Miller the Germany game on Saturday, I think its important to start right

Liam Miller my favourite would probably be Solksjaer - at the time we played him a few years back

Liam Miller the will make a massive difference. The support they give us every time is amazing. I think they tend to lift the players on the night

Liam Miller my favourite stadium would be Celtic Park and Old Trafford, two beautiful stadiums and they seem to be always full

Liam Miller i suppose I wouldn't mind playing up front as a striker

Liam Miller I go back during the summer holidays, I don't really get that much time off. I haven't Roy Keane in any of the summers I have been back

Liam Miller It would be Scheazy (John O'Shea) we tend to play golf the odd afternoon, which I usally win

Liam Miller I would take one nil right now, but we know it's going to be a tough game, so hopefully we will get the right result

Paul Fenton: Have you played against Ballack before, I'd say he's tough to watch / mark?
Liam Miller I played for half an hour against him when Celtic played Bayern Munich. He is hard to play against because he is so attack-minded, you have to know where he is every minute of the game

orla mcauliffe: Whats it like playing alongside players like rooney and ronaldo?
Liam Miller its great to train every day with these players, even thought they are so young you can learn off of them and its a challenge every day

Paul>What would you like to do when you finish playing?
Liam Miller maybe go and take a coaching job somewhere, its still a long time away, its something I wouldn't mind doing in the future
