Ciara has been a permanent fixture in the Irish senior set-up for the past ten years and is the one of only four squad members with over 50 caps to her name.

Her energetic play from midfield has long become the cornerstone of Ireland's strengths. Started out at her local club, Benfica in Waterford, then played for St. Pats before teaming up with current club, Arsenal FC in London. She has won a stock of medals with the Gunners including League, FA Cup and League Cup honours and picked up the FAI player of the year in 2000. Was also an integral part of the quadruple winning side of 2007.
