Kate Taylor (Peaumont)

Katie is an sports all-rounder but on the football pitch, she is an accomplished striker. Hailing from County Wicklow, she represented the Garden County at the SFAI Kennedy Cup tournament as a 13-year old and her talent was soon noticed by DWSL club Lourdes Celtic. Moved onto St. James' Gate from there and is currently on the books of Peamount United, who she steered to the Final of the last season's FAI Senior Cup at Lansdowne Road. Katie has won over 10 senior caps and made 45 appearances at underage International level.
She created history last year by becoming the first Irish woman to win a Gold medal in Boxing at last year's Senior European Championships. Earlier this year Irish boxing sensation Katie Taylor was crowned world champion after beating Annabella Farias in the lightweight final at the 4th women's world championships in India.Womens Squad
