Known colloquially as 'Shaka' because of her shared surname with former West Ham 'keeper, Shaka Hislop. The Belfast-born striker played club football for Belfast Predators but is currently studying in New Hampshire, America where she recently received her third All American honour.

Her value in helping Ireland achieve promotion into the top 20 of European nations was immeasurable due to the vital goals she scored over the previous campaign. Her last goal was netted in the 1-0 win over hosts Portugal at the Algarve Cup last month. Was a nominee for the FAI eircom International player of the year awards in 2006.
